Jim has 30 years’ experience in the financial marketplace where he has held leadership positions in Sales and Trading. As the Head of Market Development for FX in the Americas at Thomson Reuters, he is a trusted advisor to clients providing insightful data and analytical solutions allowing them to improve their workflow and performance across the trading lifecycle. Upon graduating from Villanova University with a Bachelor of Science degree in Accountancy in 1988, Jim commenced his financial career as a Derivatives Trader on the New York Board of Trade. He joined Reuters in 1993 to build adoption of electronic trading platforms across Exchange (Globex) and OTC (Reuters FX Spot & Forward Swaps Matching) venues to provide greater order book transparency for investors. As e-Commerce trading solutions began to extend workflow efficiency to the buy side at the turn of the century, Jim held senior roles at Cognotec and Radianz thoughtfully guiding clients through this technology evolution.
