Alan Schwarz is the Co-founder and CEO of FXSpotStream. Founded in 2011, FXSpotStream provides a multibank FX price aggregation service to clients for the purpose of executing FX spot, forward, swaps, NDF/NDS and Precious Metals spot and swaps trades. FXSpotStream's liquidity providers include Bank of America Merrill Lynch, Bank of Tokyo-Mitsubishi UFJ, BNP Paribas, Citi, Commerzbank AG, Credit Suisse, Goldman Sachs, HSBC, J.P. Morgan, Morgan Stanley, Standard Chartered, State Street and UBS. FXSpotStream clients can access bank liquidity via an API or GUI from hosted locations in New York, London and Tokyo.  

Prior to his current role, Mr Schwarz was CEO of FX proprietary trading firm Bay Head CI US and President and COO of Trading Cross Connects, an incubator of high frequency trading firms providing infrastructure and technology services. He was previously General Counsel and Chief of Staff at Fixed Income ECN BrokerTec Global and following BrokerTec’s acquisition by Icap plc, he became Icap’s General Counsel for the Americas. He graduated with a BA from Rutgers University and a JD from Rutgers Law School, Newark.
