Chris Churchman is the Head of FX Trading, Americas at UBS and is the Global Co-Head of FX Options, based out of New York.

Chris joined UBS in 2015 from Deutsche Bank with a mandate to build a strategic exotics platform. While a market-leading FX Options franchise already existed at UBS, Chris was specifically tasked with growing the business in more structured derivatives. As Global Head of Exotics, Chris developed TPricer (Trading Pricer), a system for pricing and trading any FX derivative with best-in-class pre- and post-trade analytics embedded. The aim was to focus on clients’ broader needs beyond just price, to help clients with the trade idea generation process and to support them in monetizing that trade more effectively as it progressed through its lifecycle.

Clients responded enthusiastically and the exotics franchise at UBS has grown significantly over the last few years. Additionally, TPricer is now being extended to work on a multi-asset basis, as well as being released directly to UBS’s clients to further enhance their internal workflows.

Before entering finance, Chris was a Fellow and Lecturer in Mechanical Engineering at Oxford University. He holds a Doctorate and Masters from the same institution.
