Francisco Heredia

Senior financial services executive with broad experience in electronic foreign exchange and fixed income. Exceptional track-record for establishing relationships in real-money institutional accounts in the U.S., Canada, Bermuda, and Latin America.  In late 2019, Mr. Heredia joined Market Alpha Advisors as a Principal to provide strategic and transaction advice to financial services clients.

From 2017 until 2019 Mr. Heredia was a Managing Director at State Street Global Market’s Global Link, in charge of business development for the FX post-trade application.  Prior, to that, Mr. Heredia ran an FX and Fixed Income consultancy for two years. 

From September 2011 until October of 2015 Mr. Heredia was a founding partner of Molten Markets, when the firm was sold to ICAP’s EBS. Prior to that, he spent two years running FICC e-Commerce Sales for the Americas at UBS, responsible for the deployment of its liquidity across 123 different platforms. 

In early 2009, Mr. Heredia established Boston Global Associates, a foreign exchange consultancy firm aimed at Latin American institutional investors.  Prior to 2009, Mr. Heredia spent ten years at State Street Global Market’s FX Connect; managing relationships with the largest asset managers and banks; lead the initiative into Latin America for the bank.   

Mr. Heredia also did fixed income quantitative work at Putnam Investments; financial analysis for Bankers Trust; and emerging markets analysis at Harvard Management Co.

Mr. Heredia has a Master of Science in International Finance from Brandeis University.
