Jason Leinwand is the founder and CEO of FirstLine FX. He has 30 years of experience as an active trader and global markets strategist in the foreign exchange markets. FirstLine FX was founded with the express purpose of providing independent, timely and strategic advice on the foreign exchange markets. Prior to founding FirstLine, Jason was Head of FX Strategy and Trading for MetLife, a global insurance company. For nine years he led MetLife's efforts to mitigate currency risk across its 50 countries of exposure. He was responsible for developing and implementing FX strategies for treasury, finance and private equity, as well as providing fundamental market analysis and hedging solutions for their merger & acquisitions team. He also managed the currency risk of an emerging market debt portfolio as an overlay manager. Prior to MetLife, Jason spent nearly 20 years as a senior trader and sales person at tier one financial institutions. Jason earned a B.S. in Finance from the D’Amore McKim School of Business at Northeastern University
