Kristen Macleod

Managing Director, Co-Head Global FX Distribution Barclays

Kristen Macleod is Co-Head of Global FX Sales at Barclays, responsible for coverage of both corporate and institutional clients.

Kristen joined Barclays in 2017 to lead FX sales for real money clients in the Americas. Prior to her appointment as Global Co-Head of FX Sales in July 2019, Kristen led FX sales to all institutional clients in the Americas. She has also held a rotational appointment on the Barclays Group Executive Committee.

Alongside her client responsibilities, Kristen is involved in the Women’s initiative Network serving as a LEAD Mentor for the Junior Advisory Council in addition to being a member of the Development Council that focuses on diversity initiatives across Barclays. She is also actively involved in fundraising for Memorial Sloan Kettering through the annual Cycle for Survival Event.

Kristen began her career at Goldman Sachs, where she spent 14 years in a number of FX sales roles in both New York and Tokyo. She holds a Bachelor of Arts in Public Policy and a minor in Economics and German from Duke University.
