Stephanie Roth

Stephanie Roth, Executive Director, is a senior markets economist for Global Wealth Management at J.P. Morgan. Stephanie Roth is a senior capital markets economist for Global Wealth Management at J.P. Morgan. In this role, she drives the macro outlook through economic and quantitative analysis, with a particular focus on business cycle dynamics and the impact of China on the global economy. Prior to this role, she served as a macro strategist for the Specialized Strategies managed portfolios. Here she developed a framework for gauging what is priced into financial markets and linking economic data to market returns. Before joining J.P. Morgan she was an economist at Cornerstone Macro, where she worked on a global economics team, focusing mostly on the U.S. and China. Stephanie helped develop the economic modeling framework at Cornerstone, designed to help investors navigate the U.S. business cycle. She also built out the framework for watching and forecasting the Chinese economy. Before joining Cornerstone Macro, Stephanie worked at Equinox Partners, an EM-focused hedge fund, as a statistics consultant where she built a machine learning algorithm for stock selection. Stephanie graduated from Bucknell University with a B.S. in Mathematics and Economics, and holds a Masters in Statistics from Columbia University.
