In the face of a liquidity drought, buy-side traders are delving deeper into new technologies and alternative liquidity sources to keep their firms competitive. This ever-changing landscape has seen a host of new regulations to keep up with. In Q3 of 2018 WBR Insights surveyed 100 Heads of Trading, Heads of FX and those of an equal standing from across North America. The survey was conducted by appointment over the telephone. The results were compiled and anonymized by WBR Insights and are presented here with analysis and commentary by the TradeTech FX USA community.


[Report] - The New Data Paradigm For Traders: Alternative Data in the Mainstream

In Q3 of 2018 Dataminr commissioned WBR Insights to conduct research with 100 Traders, Portfolio Managers, and Heads of Trading in Europe and North America. The research was conducted exclusively by appointment over the telephone. WBR Insights aggregated and anonymized the results of the survey, and the resulting information is presented here along with analysis from Dataminr.
